Meet Our Managers!

Meet Ester (Esther) and Robin.

Ever since she was a child, Esther McKay has been helping others. It was something she learned by watching and learning from her parents, who provided spiritual support for her community in Bearskin Lake First Nation.

At just 11-years-old, Robin had her first interaction with child welfare. It was the first time in her life she felt unsafe and in harm and she was scared. She recalled thinking that she never wanted another child to feel this way.

These two dynamic individuals are leading the way with Tikinagan Child and Family Services’ new project Niigaanshkaawin.
